CHRISTIAN TOUR PROGRAM
Day 1. Arrival in Tashkent.
Arrival in Tashkent. Meeting at the airport. Check in to the hotel.
Day 2. Tashkent.
Tour of Tashkent: Roman Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Tashkent, The only Evangelical Lutheran Church in Central Asia, Holy Assumption Cathedral, Holy Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky Church, a visit to the Polish National Cultural Center. After lunch, continue the tour:
Square and Alisher Navoi Theater, the former residence of Grand Duke Nicholas Romanov (1850-1917), Mustakillik Square, Museum of Applied Arts, Museum of Art. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 3. Tashkent- Urgench (Khiva).
Transfer to the airport and departure to Urgench. Upon arrival in Urgench, an excursion to the new parish church of the Blessed Mary of the Mother of Mercy. Transfer to Khiva (30 km). Upon arrival, accommodation at the hotel. Excursion in Khiva: Kalta-Minor Minaret, Kunya-Ark – the old citadel, the palace complex of Tash-Hawley, the caravanserai and trade domes of Allakulihan, Taza-bagh – the summer residence of Asfandiyarkhan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4. Khiva- Bukhara.
Transfer to Bukhara (470 km). Arrival in Bukhara and hotel accommodation. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5. Bukhara.
Excursion around Bukhara: Mausoleum of the Samanid dynasty (9th century), Holy Spring of Patriarch Iov, Ark (citadel), Trade dome (16th century) Lyabi-House ensemble (16th century). After lunch, an excursion to the summer residence of the last Bukharan emir and then a visit to the churches: the Orthodox Church of the Archangel Michael, the Roman Catholic Church of the Holy Apostle Andrew. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 6. Bukhara-Samarkand.
Moving to Samarkand. On the way visit the holy source of the Patriarch Job in Babkent. Arrival in Samarkand and accommodation at the hotel. After lunch, a tour of Samarkand – an architectural complex on Registan Square. Church Visits:
The Church of the Intercession of the Mother of God, the Church of the Holy Martyr George the Victorious, the Cathedral of St. Alexis the Metropolitan of Moscow, the Armenian Apostolic Church of St. Astvatsatsin (Holy Mother of God) is the only Armenian church in Central Asia. Special excursion to the Catholic Church of sv. John the Baptist. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7. Samarkand-Tashkent.
Tour of Samarkand: the Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel, the Ulugbek Observatory, (XV century);
Visit Samarkand workshop for the production of silk paper.
Transfer to the station. The high-speed train Afrosiab departs for Tashkent (300 km.).
Upon arrival in Tashkent. Hotel accommodation. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8. Tashkent.
Airport transfer.
