Day 1. Arrival in Tashkent.

Arrival. Meeting at the airport. Check in at the hotel.

Day 2. Tashkent-Termez.

Transfer to the local airport for the morning flight to Termez (661 km). 10:35 Excursion in Termez – one of the oldest cities of Central Asia and the ancient center of Buddhism. Visiting Kokildor-Ota Khanaka, Kirk-Kyz fortress – summer residence of the rulers of the Samanid dynasty, ensemble Sultan Saodat and Zurmaly (stupa of Buddha). Continuation of the tour of Buddhist archaeological sites. Visiting Karatepa, Fayaztepa and the mausoleum of Al-Hakim at-Termezi. Overnight at the hotel.

        

Day 3. Termez – Tashkent.

Excursion around Termez and its environs. Visit the Greco-Bactrian fortress of Kampirtepa (35 km.). Visit to the Dzhirkurgan minaret (30 km.) Return to Termez via the Surkhan oasis. Visiting in Termez Archaeological Museum. Transfer to the station at 18:20 Tashkent. Check in at the hotel.

       

Day 4. Tashkent.

Excursion complex Hast-Imam: Madrassah Barak Khan, Mausoleum of St. Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi, Museum of the Koran, where a unique relic is stored – the original Koran of the Caliph Osman (VII century). Visiting the mausoleum of Sheikh Zayniddin-Bobo and one of the main bazaars of Tashkent – “Chorsu”, as well as in the city center, where Independence Square and Amir Timur Square are located. Overnight at the hotel.

         

Day 5. Tashkent – Nukus.

 

Transfer to the airport for a flight to Nukus (1255 km.). 7am Visit the Savitsky Museum. The famous museum houses the second largest collection of Russian avant-garde art in the world and an exposition of objects of applied art of the peoples of Central Asia, collected by the Russian artist and patron of art I.V. Savitsky. Excursion in the center of Nukus: visiting the monument to Karakalpak poet Berdakh, Nukus khokimiyat and Drama theater. A trip to yurt camp “Ayaz-Kala”. On the way visit Chilpik – the tower of silence or Zoroastrian dahmu. Arrival in yurts camp “Ayaz-Kala” Additional services: show program and camel riding with surcharge.

Day 6. Nukus.

Visit the fortresses of Ancient Khorezm scattered across the desert. Gyaur-Kala (fortress of infidels) and Koy-Krylgan-Kala (Fortress of the dead sheep) served as defensive structures and were in the zone of visibility from each other so that it would be convenient to give a signal in case of danger, and Toprak-Kala was the capital of Khorezm in III c. Arrival in Khiva, accommodation at the hotel.

         

Day 7. Khiva.

Excursion around Khiva. Visit to the fortress of Ichan-Kala, madrasah of Muhammad Aminkhan, madrassah of Muhammad Rahimkhan, minaret of Kalta-Minor, fortress of Kunya-Ark, Juma mosque, Tash-Khovli palace, Pakhlavan Mahmud mausoleum, Islam Khodja minaret. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

         

Day 8. Khiva – Bukhara.

Moving from Khiva to Bukhara (480 km) The motorway crosses the Kyzylkum desert, repeating the ancient route of the Great Silk Road. Stop on the way, for enjoying the panoramic views of the desert and the Amu Darya river. Arrival to Bukhara. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 9. Bukhara.

Excursions with a guide in the historical center of Bukhara. Visiting the Lyabi-Hauz complex, the Magoki-Attori mosque, the Chor-Minor madrasah, the trading domes, the Kalyan minaret, the Kalyan mosque and the Miri-Arab madrassah, the Madrassah of Ulugbek, the Abdulazizkhan madrasah, the Ark fortress, the Bolo-Hauz mosque, the Samanid mausoleum and the mausoleum Chashma-Ayub . Overnight at the hotel.

         

Day 10. Bukhara – Samarkand.

Trip outside the city in Sitorai Mohi-Khosa – the summer residence of the last Bukhara emir. Visit of the mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshbandi. A trip to Samarkand (280 km.). Stop in the caravanserai of Rabat-i-Malik (XI century). Arrival in Samarkand. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 11. Samarkand.

Excursion around Samarkand. Visit the mausoleum of Gur-Emir, in Registan Square, and in Bibi-Khanum mosque. Visit to the museum and ancient settlement Afrosiab, which was the center of ancient Samarkand. Today the hillfort is a hilly area of 212 hectares, surrounded by a moat. Currently, there are archaeological excavations there. The museum “Afrosiab” keeps a model of the ancient city, fragments of fortress walls, pottery, weapons, coins, altars and unique wall murals of the 7th century. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 12. Samarkand – Tashkent.

Continuation of the excursion around Samarkand. Visit to the Ulugbek Observatory and the Shakhi-Zinda Mausoleum. A trip to the village of Kongil, where you can observe the process of making Samarkand paper from mulberry according to ancient technology. Free time, at the disposal of a car with a driver. Transfer to the railway station. Arrival in Tashkent. Overnight at the hotel.

         

Day 13. End of the tour.
